Dear Region 20 Community,
On January 6, 2025, Governor Ned Lamont issued Executive Order No. 25-1 designating January 9, 2025, as a Day of Remembrance throughout the State of Connecticut to honor the life and service of President Jimmy Carter. This order directs all public schools and higher education institutions, in addition to state and municipal government entities, to observe one minute of silence commencing at 10:00am.
All Region 20 staff and students will comply with this request and student schedules will be adjusted as needed.
